GM Chaparral Volt
GM Chaparral Volt
Make : General Motors
Model : Chaparral Volt
Concept year : 2008
Production year : 2025
Engine : renewable
The GM Chaparral Volt was created for the 2008 LA Auto Show Design Challenge.
The concept was designed for the 2025 revival of the LA Times Grand Prix, the Chaparral Volt uses advanced EREV propulsion, energy collection, generation and management system to create an entirely new category of racing - the eco-triathlon.
The GM Chaparral Volt collects and generates its own energy from three different clean, renewable and abundant California resources: Earth, Wind and Fire.
Earth (Geologic) Gravity and momentum-capture regeneration and aero-thermal resistance provide astounding levels of braking efficiency in addition to active energy regeneration.
Wind (Aero-Thermal) Building on the legendary Chaparral 2J, the Volt utilizes rear turbine extractors for power cell cooling, down force and (in reversed direction) a combination of aero-assist braking and energy regeneration.
Fire (Radiant Sunlight) Integrated thin-film PV panels for the racer's body and team support unit takes advantage of Southern California's most abundant resource, the sun, and converts it for use as the Chaparral Volt's primary energy source.

Honda NSX Mugen RR
Honda NSX Mugen RR
The Honda NSX Mugen RR was a prototype model put on display at the 2009 Tokyo Auto Salon.
Based on Honda's now discontinued NSX supercar, the NSX Mugen RR which went on show was essentially just a fancy bodykit as the vehicle lacked any drivetrain.
The brutally aggresive bodykit consists of an extensive makeover which results in a longer and wider car. The powerfull front and rear arches help cover the 18 inch, black-colored racing wheels.
Other modifications include a prominent roof mounted scoop directing air into the engine bay, a massive rear wing, upgraded brakes and an large rear diffuser with integrated tailpipes.
The interior of the Honda NSX Mugen RR features a dramatic red and black color scheme.

AC 3000ME
AC 3000ME
The AC 3000ME was first introduced at the 1973 Earls Court Motor Show. The Prototype was powered by a Ford V6 and clothed in a grp body. It wasn't until 1979 that the first production AC 3000ME's were delivered, and the price had almost tripled since its initial showing. The AC 3000Me continued to be manufactured for six years with production moving to Scotland before the company ran into financial trouble in 1985 and the 3000Me was discontinued.
The AC 3000ME was a 2 door, 2 seat, coupe with a mid-engine layout, perimeter steel chassis, 4 wheel independent suspension and superb handling.

Ferrari 612 GTO
Ferrari 612 GTO
Make : Ferrari
Model : 612 GTO
Concept year : 2010
Production year : -
Engine : V12
The Ferrari 612 GTO concept is the work of Sasha Selipanov, an extremely talented, and also incredibly irate, automotive designer based in Berlin, Germany. Sasha calls himself 'the angry car designer' for some reason, and has no time for fools.
The 612 GTO concept is a proposal for the next generation 612 Scaglietti, but with a high-performance GTO twist and completely revised aesthetics.
For the 612 GTO concept Sasha has used influences from the classic Ferrari 250 GTO - which is evident in the triple air intakes molded into the hood.
As it's only an independent concept, there's no engineering aspects which can be discussed. Sadly too because Sasha's not a Ferrari designer, there's no chance this thing's going to be prowling the streets any time soon.
Alfa Romeo TZ3 Corsa
Alfa Romeo TZ3 Corsa
Year (of specifications) : 2010
Engine : 4.7 litre V8
Transmission : 6 speed sequential RWD
Max speed : 187 mph +
0-60 : under 3.5 seconds
Horsepower : 420 hp
weight : 850 kg / 1,870 lbs
At the 2010 Villa D'Este Concours d'Elegance - an exclusive motor show held by the shores of lake Como in Italy - Zagato unveiled their latest one-off creation.
The Alfa Romeo 8c Competizione based TZ3 Corsa is a one-of-a-kind handmade supercar which features carbon fibre tubular chassis, coupled with a tubular frame and a lightweight aluminium body.
The Alfa Romeo TZ3 Corsa was commissioned by the Alfa Romeo Zagato collector Martin Kapp. Kapp owns, among his Alfa Romeo Collection: SZ coda tonda and SZ coda tronca, TZ
and TZ2, Junior Z and S.Z.. I'm guessing he's got a pretty nice house too.
The TZ3 Corsa is a race car not a road car. It was designed in part to celebrate 100 years of racing and technological achievements from Alfa Romeo, Zagato and Scuderia Ferrari.
Powering the Alfa Romeo TZ3 Corsa is the 8c's 4.7 litre V8 mated to a 6 speed sequential transmission.
